Did you know that Christmas was banned from Massachusetts in 1659? There was a five shilling fine for anyone caught celebrating Christmas. This law was revoked in 1681, but only two centuries later Christmas Day became a state holiday in Massachusetts. This had to do with Puritans principles vs. British tradition.
Today the Puritans would not believe what goes on in Massachusetts during Christmas time. We present to you Bright Nights at Forest Park. This is a good place to take your family and bring back the Christmas’ spirit to your lives:
