 The Food

According to one chef, the diner has been around for only a couple of years. That said, they were the winner of Boston’s Best in 2011 (awarded by The Improper Bostonion). They feature a large menu of sandwiches, salads, french fries, and, of course, desserts. A friend and I each had the Frikandel (Dutch for a long, minced-meat hotdog) “burger style”, which the waitress said is their most popular sandwich. This “burger” was served on a large, tasty hotdog-style bun with the meat, veggies and sauce in the middle – all very satisfying.
