Moby Dick: A Literary Review

It is difficult to understate the importance of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, which remains an important novel for anyone interested in American Literature. It is a novel exploring the determination and destiny of the individual, full of stylistic virtuosity and scholastic versatility. Though Melville was ridiculed for the book by his contemporaries, it was later applauded as a brilliant example of all that American Literature strived to be.
